What this tarot reading is
PlayTarot is an online tarot reading built as a sitting, not a chat. You name the question first. You choose a table. You draw from a seventy-eight-card deck. Only then does a named reader write — and only about the tarot cards that actually landed face-up. If a sentence could have been generated without looking at the table, it does not belong in the reading.
A daily tarot card is one picture, locked to your timezone, free whether you have an account or not. A longer sitting uses a named spread: three cards, love, career, wealth, yes-or-no, Celtic Cross, or the next twelve months. Each position has a job. Past is not advice. Outcome is not a verdict. The interpretation has to live inside those jobs, or it is just an essay with pictures glued on.
The deck is Rider–Waite–Smith, the public-domain tarot most English-language readers still learn from. Cups, wands, swords, pentacles, and twenty-two majors. We did not invent a secret deck to look exclusive. If you need upright and reversed study notes, those live on the card pages. That is homework. This page is the table you sit at when you want to draw.
An online tarot reading here is entertainment. It is not medical advice, legal advice, or investment advice. It will not tell you that someone is coming back. It will not pick a ticker. After a tarot reading, the useful move is usually small and already half-known: send the draft, name the price, stop paying for the thing you stopped using in March.
People look for tarot when they want a private sitting without booking a parlor. An online tarot reading can do that if the cards stay real. This homepage is the door: draw here, then follow a spread, a reader, or a card page when you need a longer look. It is not a dump of seventy-eight essays. Those have their own URLs so a card query does not have to fight the table.

How a tarot ritual works here
A lot of instant-draw products skip the body. You type a worry into a box. A model answers in the voice of a friend. The cards, if they appear at all, are garnish. That product is a paragraph generator. It is not a tarot reading.
The order on this site is fixed on purpose. First a question you can act on after the cards are down — specific, about you, not a trap for someone else. Then a spread. Then the shuffle and the draw, faces down, one tarot card at a time. You may sit with the pictures before anyone talks. Ritual before text is not decoration. It is how we keep the writing honest once the AI tarot reading begins.
Readers are specialists, not a dropdown of model names. Luna reads love and refuses reunion myths. Marcus reads work as a choice with a cost. Vera reads money as cash flow and delay, never a pitch. Sage keeps the daily tarot card short. Orion maps the Celtic Cross and the year. You pick a temperament. You never pick a vendor. Personality lives in the prompt.
If you only want one tarot card for today, draw it and stop. If the question is a knot, pick a larger table. Complex maps need you signed in. Either way, the reading has to say the names of the cards. “A journey” is not a name. The Fool is a name.
The fan you pick from is the same deck on every table. Nothing is swapped after you choose. A reversed tarot card stays reversed. The interpretation may be short. It may refuse the question if you asked for harm, law, or a bet. That refusal is part of the ritual, not a bug in the product.

What a tarot reading is not
A tarot reading is not a diagnosis, a court, or a broker. If the question is about harm, law, or money you cannot afford to lose, close the tab and use a human with a license. We will not dress that refusal up as mystique.
It is also not a fortune with a delivery date. A daily tarot card is weather for one day. It is not an order. Reversed cards are not a moral failing. Death is not a death notice. The Tower is not a punishment from the universe. Those fights are written on the card pages so a sitting does not have to spend its breath unteaching a rumor.
We do not claim to be the most accurate online tarot. Accuracy is a sales word. Cards are pictures. You bring the life. The ritual is there so you do not outsource the sitting to a confident paragraph.
If you arrived looking for a parlor trick, you will be bored. If you arrived looking for a quiet online tarot reading that will still name The Fool when The Fool is on the table, you are in the right place.
Questions about online tarot
Is this a free online tarot reading?
The daily tarot card is free, once per timezone-day, signed in or not. Longer sittings — three cards, love, career, wealth, yes-or-no, Celtic Cross, the year — need an account and a balance. The ritual is the same either way: question, table, draw, then text.
Which tarot deck do you use?
The Rider–Waite–Smith tarot, in the public-domain Pamela Colman Smith scans. Seventy-eight pictures, one back of our own. We did not invent a private deck. If a card page cites the image, it is this one.
How do you disclose an AI tarot reading?
Openly. The interpretation is generated after the cards are down. You never choose a model. You choose a reader with a point of view. The writing still has to name the tarot cards on the table. AI is a tool at the desk, not a hidden priest.
What is the difference between a daily tarot card and a spread?
A daily tarot card is one face for today. A spread is a table with jobs: past and present, you and the other, flow and block. If you want a quick sitting, draw today’s card. If the question has more than one moving part, pick a named spread.
Can a tarot reading tell the future?
No, and we will not sell that sentence. A tarot reading here is a structured look at a question you already have. Positions can talk about tendency or next step. They cannot book a date with fate. If you need a forecast you can bet on, you are in the wrong room.
Where should I study tarot card meanings?
On the card pages, not in a live sitting. Each encyclopedia entry holds upright and reversed notes, plus love, career, and wealth. Draw here when you want a reading. Open a card page when you want to sit with one picture until it stops being a slogan.
